I've sewn each and every pearl by hand, and have, probably, spent a good 4-5 hours in total to finish this project. What I did: found a thrifted, vintage, oversize, button-down, silk shirt; cut the collar (right at the hemmed rim); used an old, long, pearl necklace (that I haven't used); and sewn them in place just as shown above. The fabric design of the collar can stand alone by itself, but the pearl detailing just adds the perfect finishing touch. Now, the only thing left to do is for me to pop that collar on and work it!
